So its been almost 3 months since i have landed in the land of the free on may 13, and now it is august 15 and i am in new york leaving on aug 17.
Almost a 100 days have passed, thousands of miles traveled, 4 states has traveled, many friends has been made, relatoinships overseas have been tested to its limits.
This trip has been a total enriching adventure, we have went from the southern most point of united states in florida, all the theme parks in theme park capital, universal, disney, seaworld, bucsh gardens, and Six flags, conqured the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world , gambled in the casinos of atlantic city in new jersey, chilled at harvard in boston, and now here are we in times square of New york city to conclude this amazing trip.

I dont know how long can this last down the months, somehow i feel so distant from her. Maybe i am not putting in enough effort, maybe she is not, maybe the both of us are jus not putting in enough effort, maybe the young relationship jus cannot take the test of time..

its been almost 5 weeks here. Life has been busy, everyone competiting to see who has more hours. working 6 days weeks. Counting down to the day we leave. There is still so much to explore in florida and we onli so mnay days off left. And we haven even go to disney yet. There is 5 disney parks and each parks takes a day.
Will be going to miami next week. Will post some topless girls pics. Hopefully haha.

week 2

so here i am using a 56k dial up modem. So slow it took me 3 mins to get to blogger.com. Bloody wireless internet at the resort has been down for the past 2 days. Hope they din took it out permanently or else i really will be cut off frm the rest of the world.

Been working so far for about 1 week plus, the reality of my trash throwing career here has sinked in, guess we all finally accepted the job scope. Just yesterday, we cleared all the trash bins and threw them into a rubbish compacter. And when we are done with it, this lady came back telling us someone accidentally threw her GUCCI wallet, with 400 bucks, travellers cheque, money for the whole holiday trip in it into one of the bins! So guess wat, we had to go back the rubbish dumped, opened up all the trash,( inside is mostly unfinished food, chickens, hams, beer, sodas, sauages, cakes... u get the picture) yup so we dig thru all the nonsense and thankfully we found it after digging thry countless juicy trash bags. Somehow we found a sense of satisfaction from the one thing we hated the most.. trash.. but too all the fellow singaporeans they were jus kinda disgusted by the fact we had to dig thru trash. I guess all of them got the "bettter"jobs. Well i am always unlucky right...

We finally visited the seaworld as a guest, i would say its a great theme park for the family, to see the killer whales do all the stunts, to see the trainer and the bond btw the dolphins. reminds me of my kanine unit days.
Also i visited my 1st beach in florida, clearwater beach. I have to say its quite a disappiountment, maybe we chose the wrong beach? but pple where jus hanging ard, enjoying the sun, wading ard in the water. Aint as happening as i expected it to be.. haha..

haven really talk to laur for the past few days, since of the time difference, i can onli call her in my morning, which most of the time i would be working. I miss her.. i guess space really do makes the heart fonder... but how much can it stand against the test of time, esp such a youing relationship.. i really dunno.. i dun even get to msg her much.

Finally we have started work for our 1st day already. We had so much fun here the past week we almost forgot we are here to work. Job so far has been sucky , includes sweeping floor, clearing tables and clearing trash! Makes me rethink why i paid 4K to come here to go this. But due to the lack of above 21 peeps, we are most prob going to upgraded to bartenders!

For your info, seaworld and many theme parks are own by anhauser busch, some huge beer company that owns budweiser and many others, so they give out free beer at seaworld. The place i working at is the place where the beers are being given out.

Finally life here is great, people are warm and frendly, nothing like singapore, they will greet you everywhere and always say you're welcome when u say thank you. Weather is fantastic so far, heard its going to get real bad when summer hits, its in the end of spring now. Tonnes of flies flying everywhere. And i miss you babe.

So this is it! A big thanks to all those we came to see me off. Finally here in Orlando after a grusome 26 hours journey. 5 hours to taipei, 3 hours of transit, 11 hours to LA, 2 hours of transit and about another 5 hours to Orlando. The weather here is great man! Feels like singapore after 4 days of heavy rain but with sunshine!
So we checked into the resort. Went shopping at the factory outlets here in orlando. Cloths here are cheap man compared to Singapore, an armani jeans cost about 70 Sing.

Life so far in orlando for me have been nothing short of the trademark kenneths suayness, was the only one who got full luggage baggage check the moment we touch down in LA, phone spoiled when i landed orlando, shit cant flush in my toilet, i am the onli one who they do not have my paper work at orientation so need to go back again.
Well to make matter worst, all of us are pretty tied up with cash right now. Food are pretty ex here as orlando is a tourist city, most meals would cost up to 7 bucks here! And no wonder obesity is such a problem in US, nothing is healthy here man, eveyrthing is either too cheezy, too sweet or too salty. DAmn hard to find non gassy drinks. Almost everyone here is fat man. SO fat they have this electronics wheelchair to help them move around. I manage to spot at least 4 in a day.

Anyway this week is orientation week, haven started work yet. We have to walk a bit to this place to get internet. So wont be online often, also time here is exactly 12 hours behind sinagpore. here are some photos enjoy!

I have just got hired by Seaworld for 3 months. Will be working in Orlando, Florida, in the promised land, land of free speech, land of crazy girls flashing their boobs at rock gigs, land of intense racism, land where perception of all asians is that they are frm china and have one syllabus names like Yang, Lee.
Yup I am off to the USA for the work and travel program. But somehow things arent looking as good as it seems at the moment, I chose Seaworld compared to the other states becoz of my frends comments as they have been there before. But after calculating, Seaworld having the most expensive accomadations charges, I would really have to save and watch my savings, jus like a philippino maid here, maybe all the singapores will have picnis in Seaworld and dirty their land.
Here are the statistics, hourly pay is 7 bucks an hour, anything above 40 hours a week is overtime, 10.5 an hour. So after careful calculating, if i work 60 hours a day, i would have onli 3 k to spend and travel. And should i finish spending this 3 k, i would deficit my entire package course money and the air ticket, which amounds to about 2.8 k. How naive of me to think i can work to break even...
Anyway i think i will jus go ahead with it. To see how promising it can be..

I have be in hell to be in ISE, who knows this stupid course is so tough and busy that it allows absolutely no life. Only the 1st sem being in ISE, i have 7 mid terms to handle. c++ lab which takes up about 10 to 14 hours of my time each week, 8 sets of tutorials each week to be completed. Lesosns are long each day, all tutorials are everyweek, pple inside are weird and enjoying being no life.
Life jus seems to revolve trying to complete sch work, no mood to socialise after sch, no mood to reply msgs, no mood to chat on msn. It seems as if i have detached myself frm this world. As times passes by u feel as if u hvae been forgotten. Or maybe its jus me.. unable to socialise well enough.
U see pple in arts fac running ard each day, playing soccer going ard to spend 3 hours of the night at supper, i jus cant afford the time. Life sucks, looks like going to sucks for the next 3 years as well.. as so my seniors in ISE tells me, it gets worse apparently..
think i need a gf.. haha

Apparently there is an conjunctivitis epidemic going in NUS, or sore eyes in laymen's term. The story goes like this, an idiot from Eusoff hall gets infected and went around spreading it in Eusoff and last number count from Eusoff is 40 plus pple have been infected. And one shearite who came into contact with one of the infected got infected and as well.

Woke up on a sunday morning with sore eyes on one side. Which i tot is because of a stupid china lady who spread her legs in front of us with short skirts. Anyway came back hall to realise 2 more of my level mates were infected as well. I went to see a doc at the YIH health centre, there was 3 pple in the room reporting sore eyes at the same time!
Well almost 5 days has pass and block C of sheares hall have a total of 10 infected ones now. Wonder how much more will be infected in days to come, cant study.. cant look at your com for long.. cant do nuts.

Anyway IBG have been great so far. Unlike last yr, this yrs Block C looks much more united that last yr could ever be. BIg kudos to the freshies! Go Block C go!

Its been almost 3 months since me and candice broke up. In case all those who still is not updated, yes me and candice broke up a couples of months back. Guess i was too busy with my hall commitments to have time to be sad about it i guess.
The lastest news however is that she got attached with the thai guy which partly.. no mostly caused our break up. Who would have thought she will move on so much faster... somehow i guess i haven. Never expected how the news would have affected me in a way i have not expected. I guess it reallys takes time to heal.. and i realise what my 1st ex went thru when i broke up with her..
Well.. guess i have jus to move along..

Well its been a long time since i last blogged. Feels weird all over again penning down your thoughts online for everyone to see. Somehow the blog fever has hit everyone and it seems jus as popular as friendsters. To think among my friends i am the 1st to set up a blog and I end up not doing anything about it.
Much things has changed since i last blog.. for one i have gotten attached and broke up again. It wasnt as long as my 1st relatoinship, much ups but more downs i guess. She was a nice girl, sweet, very homely, quite cute, genuine, honest.. hit off pretty well at 1st but things got prettty messy when her indecisiveness and my indiffirents start getting in the way.. sometimes i wan her to be the perfect one that i try to change her to something she isnt... probably lost sight of what i fall for her in the 1st place. Broke up at the bus stop.. where we had our last kiss goodbye. This was about a month ago.
I have also finished my 1st camp i organised. I have to say despite all those long hours of calling ppl to join the camp, ppl not doing what they are suppose to do and end up others have to cover their crap, it was the best com i have ever join so far. It was a pity we couldnt have the chance to interact with the freshies. But all was good.
Leaving for phuket in one weeks time. Hope it will be good fun. Really need a getaway before sch starts again and all the programming shit comes again. Oh will be having new classmates, jus hope i can find a click in there and dun feel so lost the whole of yr 1.

i jus realised my last posting is in march!! Yup thats how busy school life is.. before u can even take a breather for the end of the week a whole bunch piles stack of tutorials and assignments jus come crashing down on you.
Jus ended my midterm and hooorah.. i failed 4 my core modules.. on my way to getting retain... doent help much with the confidence seriously.. lost and dejected... stuck in a cheena block and shows no unity and community love. Life seems to be falling apart.
Well at least i hope hall activities can give me a new least of life.. sheares band, hockey, external relations commitee where i go ard jc and promote sheares and tell them how much sex they will get..., and dinner and dance commitee where i spend my whole sem working my butt off jus to get back onli half the pay. But at least it seems promisingly fun...

Falling in love, a feeling that i believe everyone has felt and experienced at least once in their lifes. A sweet unforgettable feeling that send chills down ur spine. Small little things like the girl replying your message, giving you a peck on the cheek or just her innocent smile could make the worst of days become beautiful again.

Remember the days when you stood by your handphone without fail just waiting for the special someone to sms or call, or when u stood by ur house phone dailing her house number to the sixth number and hanging up the phone before u hit the last number, the feeling of teh soft tender lips of the special someone on your first kiss...

And after that this two special someone would be in love, they got together and they spend so much wonderful time together. As time goes by, differences set in, schedules collide, one would commit more than another. Suddenly it seems as if it were obligation rather than love. Being in love seems so much harder than falling in love.
